When trying to update Windows 11, Windows Update results are "We can't install this update, but you can try again (0x80248007).I have research the issue and tried all the recommended solutions. None have worked. I ran Dell Assistant and Dell Update, both reporting all components are up-to-date. I ran the below suggested set of commands. My company just required me to update my work laptop to Windows 11 and my #1 issue with it is the rounded corners on everything. I much MUCH prefer the square corner look that Windows 10 had and am really struggling to adjust to the rounded corners. Is there or is Microsoft planning to add a setting I can change to get the square corners back? Everything I've found online has mentioned using 3rd-party installers and "hacks" which would absolutely not be allowed by my employer so I'm looking for a natively supported option.View the full article

I follow the process to delete my old account and when I do, it says I need to leave my 'work organization'. I had no idea I was even part of a work organization. When I try to delete it, the page says everything is ok but I have to delete all 'License-based subscriptions'.I've followed advice on how to do this: which is going to the Billing tab, but I can't figure out what subscription I have besides the free version of Microsoft Teams. When I follow any link to try to manage subscriptions, I try to log in and it says I need to sign in with a work or school account which I have neither. How dView the full article

Hello,First of all, sorry for my english level, I'll try to do my best to be the most understandable I can.Everything was ok, I ran Windows 11 pro without problem. Then, I upgraded the Bios of my MSI b650 gaming plus motherboard without issue. After that, I have restarded the machine but now I can't sign-in in Windows 11 anymore. I get a message saying "something happened and your PIN isn't available". So Windows asks me to create a new PIN code. This is where the problems begin...When I want to create a new PIN code, windows 11 asks me to log in to my Microsoft account. I fill in the email adView the full article

I recently purchased a new PC. My old PC was running Windows 11 which had been upgraded from Windows 10, and I never had any issues with my network drives. I run a small business and all of my business data is stored on network drives which are from NAS devices. After setting up my new PC, when I open my network drives, they show as empty, even though that is not true. The main screen shows 'This folder is empty' but if I expand the drive on the left navigation pane, you can see that there are clearly folders within this directory. In fact, if I do expand it in the navigation pane, and refrView the full article

Quick questions:Is Microsoft PC Manager worth installing on a Windows 11 PC?Is Microsoft PC Manager a safe application to install? The reason why I am asking this question is because I read that the application was developed in China. Does China have access to my personal information?Does Microsoft ensure that information collected by PC Manager does not end up in China, and used by the Chinese government (i.e., spyware)?Any information that you (Microsoft, Microsoft Moderator, etc.) can provide would be helpful. Thanks,JohnView the full article

My PC has been randomly crashing every ~2 days or so due to what I think was a dying SSD, so I got a replacement drive and tried installing a fresh copy of Windows 11 on it. However, with no other hardware changes, my PC will now barely go more than a couple minutes without freezing and/or restarting itself (no BSOD). I can't even get through Windows 11 setup. I tried installing Windows 10 instead, and while I was able to get through that installation, my PC still crashes within a minute or two of starting up.Putting the old drive with the old install of Windows back in fixes the constant freeView the full article
