I'm looking at buying a used copy of Windows 7 Ultimate with Windows Anytime Upgrade for an old PC.How do I know if the licence is OK to be used for an install? Is there a limit? The person said they haven't had a Windows 7 PC for a decade - does that count for anything?I don't know how to find a EULA for it to check.Thanks so much for any help View the full article

I use Windows 7 Ultimate in one of my personal laptops, which I use rarely. Recently I created a guest account during which the system warned me of conflicts on permissions between Admn and guest accounts. I overlooked it and still created the guest account. Now I am unable to access C: and perform any tssks that require access to C:. How to fix this, please? View the full article

Hello. Sorry for my English. I bought Windows 7 BOX version. I have a ISCSI disk. I installed Windows 7 on ISCSI disk and licensed copy Windows 7.I shutdown PC with Windows and mount ISCSI-disk in Linux (ubuntu 22.04) and run this disk on virtual machine QEMU.I start Windows 7, but license has crashed. If I run Windows 7 in my PC (wich was licensing) - same license working.I cant use VM and PC in same time (file system NTFS not supported). I need some general help. I am locked out of my laptop I bought used. The man sold it cheap because he couldn't use it either as he can't remember his password to his user account. I thought it would be a simple fix. I assumed I would run it in safe mode with command prompt to change the account password etc but when I select "start computer in safe mode with command prompt" it loads a black screen with a bunch of stuff I don't understand but there's no box or place to type a command to change the user pass. It thinks for a minute or so then goes to the blue lock screen again with the user namView the full article

not exactly sure what the deal is with 'subscriptions', however, when i activated it, it didn't say 'subscription'. the only way i found out was 90 days later, my product was 'not genuine'. what are these subscription keys, and how can i get support for them ? is microsoft selling / generating these keys ? and why is this key activating my product instead of activating a subscription ? surely microsoft had the foresight to figure out that this marketing paradigm with the subscriptions is suspiciousView the full article

I noticed something wrong with my laptop windows 7 few months ago when I had restarted it. I tried clicking buttons to fix it like the F11 or so. But after I clicked them a pop up had came then I tried reading it but it left, so I restarted my computer again I tried spelling words to speak to friends but my backspace wouldn't do anything I could only use, q,w,e,r,t,y,u,i,o,p,g,h,j,k,l,z,x,c,v,b,n,m. My numbers wouldn't work. So I am stuck with using the in screen keyboard and i have many problems with spelling on it. View the full article
