I have an account that I set up years ago for my laptop. I used it yesterday and the laptop went into sleep mode. I started the laptop up today and went to login to be met with a message to say PC Offline login with details. I have tried to access the Microsoft account via the internet and it's telling me that the account has been blocked due to the incorrect password being entered too many times. This isn't true! I set up the account so long ago that when I now try and reset the password it's telling me I have the wrong details. My laptop died & a friend loaned me her mom's HP18 & my wifi network doesn't list in available networks. All my neighbors show up, but not mine. I contacted my internet provider and they said, "Oh, looks like your router/modem is outdated, we'll send a newer, advanced version & once connected it should fix the problem."Well, I got it & it didn't fix anything. I’ve been fighting with this PC for two days now, trying to fix its freezing issues and keep all of the files on it for my mother. I thought I succeeded only to be slapped in the face with an admin account I can’t get into. With permission from my mother, I’ve resorted to factory resetting it since it’ll be mine to keep anyway, but now I’m confused. If I want to reset it to its factory settings where I can start over even before the lock screen, do I choose to ‘just remove the files’ or ‘fully clean the drive’? Error Code 80072EFE: I have an old Dell laptop running windows 8.1. The last known updates were ran in 2012. Some of the programs I've tried to get into wont function properly because they say they need to be updated, understandably so. i.e.. windows photo, video, defender, firewall, etc. I went into the start menu>settings>update & security>windows update; ran it and got this, above mentioned, error code. So I'm not going any further with updates until I understand this first problem. I only need this computer for its basic functions and software. Hoping someone savvy can ease meView the full article

I have owned all the smart phones from the early Sony to the Droid, the Motorola Q, Most of the iPhones and several of the windows phones.While I am firmly in the Apple ecosystem, I still think the BEST phone was the last windows phone. HP made one that was a 3 in 1, you could use it as a phone, a laptop or desktop. It was powerful enough to plug in a full size monitor. I thought it incredibly short sighted of MS to close their phone division.Would anyone else out there like a phone that will turn into a desktop?
