Hello. I am trying to see if it is possible to create a Copilot agent that can take a natural language question and pass it to on-prem SQL server as a query and then respond with an answer. For example, if I ask "What was the total sales last month?", I want Copilot to answer "$50,000" or something like that from the on-prem database and table(s) I specified beforehand. I have a Microsoft Graph Connector (MS SQL Server) that is connected to an on-prem SQL server via a Graph Connector agent. The Graph Connector can access the SQL data and index it. I have added the Graph Connector as knowledge source in Copilot agent. However, the agent does not seem to be able to answer q…

I have noticed recently that if you are filtering on a column in a SharePoint list or library, if you start typing, it will now auto complete your search for you based off of the top result in that column. I will show some examples below of this happening. When just typing "1" it auto completes my search with the top result. When typing "1234" it auto completes my search based off of the 1 and then adds 234 to the end of the top result. This means you now either have to copy and paste the exact thing you want to search on or manually scroll down the filter list to select what you want. You cant anymore just type 1234 and then select 1234789. Is this a new feature? Can it …

I am trying to restore a database using SMSS under Windows 11. I don't recall what version of SMSS (it's on another computer), but I downloaded it less than a week ago, so it should be the current one. Everything is OK up to the point where I open the Locate Backup File dialog and try to select the backup file I want to restore. The file is in the Documents library, so its pathname begins C:\Users\<username>\Documents\... But when I get to the <username> folder, the dialog does not list any of its subfolders. I can't select the backup file if I can reach the folder that contains it. I tried pasting the folder's pathname into the dialog's Backup File location f…

Hi all, I am doing a bit of research about Copilot in Microsoft Defender XDR. I was looking at how this could benefit different companies with their day-to-day tasks and in-depth analysis. It looks promising, but how about companies that deal with sensitive information? Yes, all companies have sensitive data, but what about medical facilities and government agencies? I’ve seen that Copilot adheres to several standards like ISO 27001, 27017, 27018, and a few more, but the data is still shared with Microsoft. I have looked at the possibility of hosting an AI tool on-prem, but Copilot only enables on-prem integration with data sources of M365 services. The reason why this is…

Hi All, My team just recently completed our first CSP Private Offer. However, unlike direct or MPO Private Offers, I noticed that this CSP Private Offer is not appearing on any reporting (Order Report, Revenue Report, etc.) when reviewing the Insights section on Partner Center. As our team usually uses these reports in order to confirm purchases, I wanted to reach out to the community to see if anyone is aware of an area in Partner Center where we can find reporting with details on CSP Private Offer that were recently transacted. Any feedback or information regarding CSP Private Offers will be appreciated as I am new to the CSP Private Offer process. Thanks all!…

Hi all, does anyone know if this is a bug or a pretty bad feature? While trying to filter a text column users start having issues with some sort of autoselecy feature. When they write the first letter SP autoselect the item and this happen all the time the user press a key, so if you want to filter for a specific field you need to delete all the letters that the system add, becouse if you just press the next letter you'll be at the end of the autoselect suggestion (img.3). This is an issue when people need to filter in list with high number of items with for example code the are the same for the first 5-6 characters Thank in advance for any suggestion, the iss…

In this guest blog post, Paul Mason, Chief Commercial Officer at Solgari, considers the customer service landscape and how innovation, such as Solgari's app available in Azure Marketplace, can enable better outcomes for organizations and their customers. Across customer service functions, organizations are being held back by legacy technology, leaving communication channels isolated, the CX process disjointed and customers unsatisfied. According to a recent survey from HubSpot, 39% of customer service agents said their biggest challenge was dealing with disconnected systems and data sources. This makes it difficult to provide a seamless customer experience and can i…

Can anyone give me a status on NCE for Azure Gov? We have a large number of older legacy subscriptions we'd like to get off of and onto Azure Plans and as I read it until NCE is available in Gov that isn't going to be an option unless we do a resource migration (which is expensive and an exercise the customer shouldn't have to go through to get access to the cost management tools). Thanks in advance! View the full article

In my search for at way to get data about SharePoint tenant storage usage and the total capacity, I have been using the PnP PowerShell module. I wanted to move away and use Microsoft Graph instead. I found inspiration in multiple places and have been cooking a little script that I wanted to share with the community. Microsoft 365 makes it easy to remove domains. However, if you remove a domain and don’t adjust email proxy addresses, some fix-up might be needed to make sure that mail-enabled objects don’t have primary SMTP addresses or proxy addresses that use the removed domains. This article explains how to fix up mail-enabled objects with PowerShell to remove traces of any removed domains. https://office365itpros.com/2025/03/19/remove-domain-adjust-addresses/ View the full article

Would it be possible to get a (semi) permanent/fixed URL link for the Microsoft Edge Policy Templates for Microsoft Windows (preferably 64-bit)? There are already "fwlink" direct download links for the latest releases of Microsoft Edge MSI x86/X64, e.g. http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=2093437 for MicrosoftEdgeEnterpriseX64.msi Could we please get one for the MicrosoftEdgePolicyTemplates.cab? Currently, we have to go to the Microsoft Edge Enterprise landing page https://aka.ms/EdgeEnterprise and click through the link and agree to the download. A "fwlink" would enable direct download via PowerShell script, or just a single manual click. Thanks, Jonathan …

Hi All I hope you are well. Anyway, I'm a bit confused with the Conditional Access Sign-in Frequency Session Control and MFA. Info here: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/entra/identity/authentication/concepts-azure-multi-factor-authentication-prompts-session-lifetime#recommended-settings So, what would be a good recommendation for: Office staff (M365 E3 license)Front Line Worker's (F3 license)And am I correct in saying that this includes MFA and that the default MFA period is 90 days Any help or advice on a good workable setting would be greatly appreciated.
