    Sorry - hit wrong button before I'd finished! When the search is complete you can save the search paramters as a virtual folder for future searches - click on "save search" giving the folder an appropriate name like "search drives D, F and K".

    ok - got you now ...... go to search, select advanced. from the location pulldown list choose search locations - it will give you a checklist to choose which drives to search.

    Not 100% sure I understand your question but if you're just seeking to search a selected drive or folder then just right click on that drive or folder and select the search option.
