Got cheese or goat cheese ? <w>
Funny you should mention Vista ... just set up a client's desktop that
came with Vista SP1 last week and I have to admit Vista is *much* improved.
One caveat, though ... uninstalled the crap security suite that the OEM
stuck on there before doing *anything* else.
Since the suite had not been activated, it uninstalled in 15 seconds ...
and it was NIS !!!
Then did all the updates with absolutely no issues and installed Avast.
The system was purring like a cat with a never ending supply of milk.

It's going on my newest box after I install 2 more GBs of RAM and
another HD. If I wasn't so lazy that would've been done 2 weeks ago.
Maybe I'll get it installed before Win 7 comes out <eg>

That was one blessing with this machine of mine it didn't come with a load
of crap from the manufacturer, just the OS Vista Home Premium SP1 and a
trial version of Windows Live OneCare and that was the first thing I did,
uninstall it, I still had nearly a year on my NOD32.
Mine purrs along quite nicely as well, I have 2GB of RAM on here with an
Intel Core2 Duo 2.4 GHz. Oh and I do love the wide screen monitor that it
came with <g>
The only downside is because it's onboard graphics I can only get a score of
3.4
