Windows Firewall

ARLK

I can't turn my "Windows Firewall" on, the check boxes so i can turn it on
are faded and so are the words right next to the boxes or circles. There is a
check next to Off (not recommended) though. But i want to turn it on but i
can't.

Hi ARLK! Ensure there is no 3rd party security software to block Windows
Firewall (Internet Security suits or other firewall) . If you have such you
don't need Windows Firewall .

However , if this is not the case , you are very likely to be infected by a
malicious software . Check using antivirus and antispyware software

NOTE , you must be malware free before you try to repair your Windows Firewall

No problem, and thanks for understanding the intent. It gets a bit involved
at times to state things in scenario neutral way.
