Activating WinME

Hi again,

It's been a while since I re-installed ME. Full install, not an upgrade. I
was trying to recall if you have to Activate ME with Microsoft? Did it have
that requirement back then or was this introduced with 2000 or XP?

Please advise.

No activation with Me. You can use any product key you like and install
it with the same product key on as many computers as you like.
