Visual Web Developer and ASP 2.0

I have VS 2008 Express (that is, VB and WD) installed and I want to try to create a website with Visual Web Developer. It creates sites in ASP 3.5 but my hosting account only works with 1.0/2.0 sites. Is there a way to make VWD 2008 Express create the site in ASP 2.0.

(disclaimer: if it sounds like I don't exactly know what I'm talking about, that's because that's mostly true)
