Vista windows mail

I have set up windows mail as instructed. I can send but when I look on my
XP outlook express I can see that I have mail but I can not see it in windows
mail. For this being and updated version of outlook express it is confusing.
I anm not a computer geek so make the answer simple please

Do you have XP/OE set to leave the mail on the server?
If not, when you get the email on XP, it's deleted on the server, so there's
nothing there when you check it on Vista.

I have no idea. But I would say no. If I get it on Windows mail - then it
is not on XP and vice versa. How do I make it stay on the server. I know it
stays in XP until I delete it but I am sure that is not what you mean.

If you want to download the same email to both computers, each computer mail
program has to be set to leave messages on the server. That way, each has a
chance to download the messages before they are removed from the server.

In Vista Windows Mail:
Tools - Accounts - highlight your account - Properties
in the Properties box - Advanced
Delivery
[x] Leave a copy of messages on server
[x] Remove after [10] days (whatever number you want)
OK

In XP Outlook Express:
do the same thing as above.

Follow the procedure that Dave described to leave the messages on the server
ofr a set amount of time.

There are a couple of issues with this that you need to be aware of.

1. Not all email servers support this capability.
2. The same email may be downloaded multiple times to the same email
account, until it is deleted from the server.

Not sure what you mean or where your accessing the Favorites from?

Maybe going to Start/Help and Support. Search for Favorites there.

In Windows Mail, Look in your "Junk E-Mail" folder.
