Hi All,
We have a Windows Standard 2008 Server/SP2 (Virtual Server/VMWARE) with 8GIG
of RAM set. We have Exchange2007 installed on this server. There are 3
logical drives (RAID 50 Drives On A SAN) c=system partition, d=store,
e=transaction logs. We have the paging file on the C drive and it is set to
be managed by the system (set for 8.5GIG).
We have had some outlook users complain about slow response time (not
frequently, but occasionally) when opening outlook. When I checked the
peformance of the Windows2008 server I notice the memory counter from task
manager is showing near the top (88% memory used). I notice the store.exe
(The Exchange2007 store) is using 5.5GIG. I assume this is normal? Should I
be doing anything with the paging file such as moving this to a different
drive?
Any thoughts or links would be great. Perhaps this is the normal way
Windows2008/Exchange2007 manages memory?
Thanks
