Hi guys!

i have a quick question :

It's possible configure a windows server 2008 to use a proxy server (NO ISA)

Thanks in advance.

Hello Inputio,
Try using VAMT that may allow you to do what you are looking for
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details...4DD8-1B2C-4DA4-
A530-80F26F0F9A99&displaylang=en
One of things is does as act as activation proxy
From the web page.
MAK Proxy Activation: Activation of multiple computers with one online
connection to Microsoft

Thanks,

Yes, it is possible.
What is stopping you from trying?
BTW ISA is a proxy server.

Hello Inputo,
I am pretty sure TecNet was using MAK keys for Windows Server 2008.
Open an elevated CMD prompt and run slmgr /DLV
what is on the first three lines
Thanks,

If you have Server 2008 from Technet or MSDN it is probably a MAK (Multiple
Activation Key).

1) Configure IE with the proxy info.
2) Open a command shell with elevated privileges. (Run as Admin)
3) Type this command: netsh winhttp import proxy ie
4) Activate Windows.
