Remote Apps on Windows 2008 R2

I have two quick questions related to windows 2008 r2 terminal services. the
first is once I have the remote apps created inside of the remote app manager
how exactly do I use group policy to deploy to my workstations. If I use the
software deployment selection doesnt that mean its running on the workstation
and not the ts server. the second question is there a way to have that remote
app on the workstation use single sign on inside of launching the rdp windows
before it launches the app? I am trying to keep it seamless for my clients.

No if you install the MSI package through a GPO then your just creating the
RDP icon for the user, the apps still run from the server. I'm not sure
about the single sign on though, although I wouldn't mind knowing the answer
as I want to do something similar if it's possible.

Andrew.

Thanks Rob. is deploying remote apps through gpo--via software deployment the
correct way to do it?

Yes, you can use GPOs to publish MSIs. You could also use any other
software distribution solutions you're already using.

Windows 7 has the new RemoteApp and Desktop Connections:
