Instant search with mounted volumes

Why Windows Search isn't working on mounted volumes in Windows Server 2008
Standard? I've mounted volume in /OwnDocuments folder on my C: drive and
can't even use instant search of Explorer in it. Is it somehow possible to
enable Windows Search on mounted volume without assigning drive letter to
it?

There is no such location in Indexing options and there is no folder
OwnDocuments on C:\ drive.

The problem is that Windows don't want to use Index when searching on
mounted volumes. Is there any way to make it use Index?
