Hello. Lookign for a little help... I have a server running Windows Server
2008, with the Terminal Server and TSWeb Access Roles.

1. Are their any instructions, whitepapers, best practices, etc. - for how
to upgrade to the new Release 2 ?

2. Can this be done as an in-place upgrade?

3. Our main server is running SBS2008, and has the TS Licensing Role
installed. Woudl we need to chaneg anythign on that server to work with a
Terminal Server that has R2 installed?

There's no upgrade path, so ... no. You know it hasn't been released yet,
right? What's your hurry to move to it? I am never an early adopter.

Nope. It would need to be a clean install.

I'm not sure how licensing would be affected, but since you would be
reinstalling entirely, I expect you would have to start over from scratch
with that.

If you're using SBS2008 Premium and your license for the 2nd server is just
for W2008, I'm not sure your SBS2008 CALs will cover another server running
W2008 R2 (which you would of course have to buy separately). Check with the
licensing weasels.

Whoops, my bad. Last time I checked it was not yet released. All my other
points stand, tho. -)
