which objects in perfmon are best to detect the bottleneck for my server.
the console GUI gets extremely slow but the network file access perfomance
is normal
I changed the paging file from let windows manage to 2046 - 4096 but still
slow

It is impossible to say without knowing the exact specs of the server, and
exactly what services it is providing.

Typically, to get a good idea of what your server is doing, you should
create a baseline in Perfmon over the period of a week or so.

A good baseline includes objects/counters from the Disk subsystem (both
logical and physical), the network subsystem, the memory subsystem, and the
processor subsystem.
