Volume Shadow Copy only keeps the last 24hrs

We have 3 servers and I have set VSS to run on all the data drives and 2 of
the servers are ok and have shadow copies twice a day for weeks but the
other server only has copies for 1 day, a 7:00am and 12:00pm copy. I have
applied the KB940349 patch but it hasn't helped.

Does anyone have a fix for this problem?

It will keep as many as it has room for. How big is this volume and how much
free disk space does it have?

The volume is 100GB with 26GB free space.

That may be the issue. At the root of the volume/properties/shadow copies,
check the settings on that drive and see what the max size is.

The max size was 10gb but there was only ~300mb being used

Hmmm. Odd indeed. I'm honestly not sure. Do your event logs give you any
clues? I've never had to do any troubleshooting for this so I don't know
what else to advise, sorry.
