Howdy,
I have a weird problem that is driving me crazy. I have three identical Win 2003, 64 bit boxes with 8 GB and dual quads that are part of a Citrix farm. About every 30 mins the servers will lock up to the point that I can't do anything with them. If I'm lucky enough to be logged into one when things go south, I'm very limited in what I can do. For example, I can't even run a DIR from a DOS prompt. If I have Task Manager open, I can see that CPUs and Memory are normal (below normal actually because most processing has stopped) and nothing is consuming anything crazy.
I ran FileMon and RegMon and didn't see anything out of the ordinary. After about 10-15 mins, the problem cleans itself up and the system runs like the wind.
As a last resort, I'm going to uninstall the AV (LanDesk) software one server to see if it makes a difference.
Any thoughts?
Thanks
Kirk
