Hi NG
We'are implementing a Software which scans the entire subnet for inventory
pursposes. This scan needs the Service "Network Connections" and "WMI
Performance Adapter" to be running before the scan process starts but
couldn't handle it to start by itself..
Is there any risk to set those services to automatic?
Otherwise I should write a script which will start / stop those both
services on each machine (clients & server) in the entire network. there are
about 3000 machines. Think this way wouldn't be much reliable...
Both services are set to Manual start which is the windows default setting.
Environment:
Windows Server 2003 R2 SP2
Any advice would be appreciated
