Printing problems TS2003

Dana

Hi,

We have 1 user with an HP LJ1022 who can't print. He used to be able to
print but had a problem on his PC & had to reinstall Win XP Pro. We tried
using an HP LJ 6p with no luck. Any ideas?

Thx,

D

1) install a "HP Laser Jet IIP" printer on the TS

2) on your local machine, in your printer's property
dialog, advanced tab, install and set your local
printer's driver to "HP Laser Jet IIP".

3) restart your local machine's TS connector

Fixes them all the time.

Good luck,

Hi Todd,

I will have him try & let you know. We also can't delete those printers
(the 6p) from the TS, even administrator. It says something about the name
being typed incorrecly or lost it's connection. There's now 4 LJ 6p's in
the list (session 1-4)?

Thx,

D

Just out of curiosity, when was the last time you
rebooted your TS? (You really need to do it at least
once a day. I do mine at midnight with a scheduled task.)

It's been a month or so - I'll reboot it later today when no one is in.

Thx.

According to HP's guidelines:

http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bc/docs/support/...l/c01464949/c01
464949.pdf?jumpid=reg_R1002_USEN

you need to use the HP LaserJet 6L PCL5e driver which is included in
the Windows OS.

OK, it turns out a reboot did the trick. The LJ 6L driver now works fine.

Thx Todd & thx Vera for responding.
