Server Core - Firewall

By default the Operational Model of the firewall on a server core machine is
set to enabled, should be disabled when promoting the Server Core to a DC?

Are there any firewall changes that need to be done on a Server core machine
to get the box to communicate on a production network?

You don't need to disable the firewall when promoting. The promotion will
create the necessary exclusions in the firewall to allow communications for
AD and file shares.

After installing server core, I only hade to make three firewall changes.
Remote Desktop, remote firewall, and remote administration.
