Autostreamer and Windows 7

Under XP, I used Autostreamer to slipstream service packs into the XP DVD.

It was quick and straightforward to use. Does anyone know if it will be

available for Win7' Service Pack?

Thank you.

It should be. But then again it was supposed to be for Vista SP1 but then

they said it wouldn't work.

With Longhorn you are supposed to be able to mount the WIM file (with

ImageX.EXE) then apply the update to the mounted WIM, reseal and then commit

the changes.

Ain't gonna happen as slipstreaming was killed by the new packaging of

Windows Vista and 7. MS said it was not possible for this to be

implemented. Also why nLite gave up. With the current system for

updateing Windows 7 (if you are a VL user) everything works very well

so why should MS set up a slipstream ability for Joe Six Pack like me?
