From the brevity of the replies, I take it that it's somewhere obvious which

I've missed. Well, the fact that I'm asking means that I have missed

it......

Right-click Start button > Properties > Start Menu > Customise

Select the box ' Recent Items'.

Also on the Start Menu tab the boxes under 'Privacy'.

It is normally in the right column of the start menu. (left click the Start

Orb), On my setup it is the 6th item down under Favorites and above

Computer.

If it is not there configure the start menu.

Right Click the Start Orb, left click properties in the drop down box.

Left click the Start Menu tab

Left Click the Customize Button

About two thirds down the list you should find 'Recent Items' left click to

set the check mark in the box next to 'Recent Items'.

Left click the OK button in lower right.

Left click the OK button in lower middle.

Recent Items should now show in the right column of the start menu when you

next left click the start orb

Windows 7 Home Premium
