As your head seems to be a little to full of Linfux, the context of the word

"general" in this case means anything generally involved with the Windows 7

Operating System, does it not?



So explain how does that include Linfux in general and Ubuntu in

particular - especially when there are some 400 various Linfux groups - and

some 6 Ubuntu specific groups.



But I suppose if you started posting in those, you lack of knowledge in that

sphere would soon be exposed and you would become an even bigger laughing

stock that's for sure.



I would suggest that you really out to return to that first-grader class and

learn how to fully understand the word *CONTEXT* before troubling yourself

with the more difficult *ALT* as this may help *YOUR* education a little.

does not mean that off topic comments are allowed in .alt newsgroups.

If you are looking for Windows 7 newsgroups then Microsoft Forums are

your only option. However, you could download Microsoft's NNTP bridge

to read and post to forums using your newsreader like Outlook Express,

Windows Live Mail or Thunderbird. The latest version of bridge

(released about a week ago) can be downloaded from here:
