I don't believe IE8 cleans out all cookies so I do a manual removal of those

in the folder

C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Cookies\Low

Most are usually found in that "Low" folder, but occasionally some will

appear

one level up in the "Cookies" folder. Is this normal?

I have created a new folder in the "Cookies" folder, named "Cookies.bak", in

which

I keep about a dozen cookies that I want to allow/keep. I will delete all

the cookies

in the "Low" folder, then copy/paste those from the "Cookies.bak" folder to

the

"Low" folder. Any thoughts on this method of managing cookies?

I use CCleaner and manage the cookies I want to keep in there.

CCleaner is free, although a donation is welcomed.
