W2K/SP4 data to W7?

There is apparently some utility that users can use to

prepare for migration/reinstall of XP data files to a new W7

install.



Since W2k/SP4 uses the same file format as XP, is there a

way for W2k/SP4 users to migrate their data files to W7?

The link you reference does not make any mention of W2K.



Are you implying that the utility is intended also for W2k/SP4?

No such implication. You probably can't make that leap via USMT
