File Sort Order is backwards

When I go to Explorer and click VIEW / ARRANGE ICONS and select "By

Date", the newest file is at the END of the list of files. I also use

Win98se, and the newest dated file is always at the BEGINNING of the

list. This is really annoying having one OS reversed. The newest

should be at the beginning, not the end of the list. How do I reverse

it so it's "normal"? This is driving me nuts, and I cant find the

setting.

Thanks
