I am running the bcp utility under Microsoft Visual studio 2005 and receive

the following in the progress log:

[Execute Process Task] Warning: File/Process "bcp" is not in path.

a few lines later the process fails

:[Execute Process Task] Error: In Executing "bcp" " "FDMS.[DBO].[EXPORT_TUFTS]

" out "E:\DBProg\FDMS\TUFTS\Output\TuftsExport_0.txt" -c -S azshDSD16v -C ACP

-t "|" -T" at "", The process exit code was "1" while the expected was "0".

It looks like the "bcp" utility cannot be found. When I do a "PATH" in the

windows command window the path for the utility is present ("C:\Program Files\

Microsoft SQL Server\90\Tools\binn\" see below). Is there somewhere else I

need to look for the path?

I give up ... what?

Why do you even ask for help?

Try quoting what you're responding to next time, dipwad.

If you can't follow the train of discussion please refrain from posting,

you are utterly lost in as little as the exchanges of two postings...

I tried your suggestion and I got a login/error:

SQLState = 28000, NativeError = 18456

Error = [Microsoft][SQL Native Client][SQL Server]Login failed for user.

This may be a security issue with the server?

Why don't *you* refrain from top-posting, moron? At least you did so above,

so it's possible for you to learn something.

You're quite a clown, aren't you? If it's possible to learn something

then maybe you can learn how to be civil, but I have a feeling that you

are one of those who can't learn civility and who thinks that insulting

others in usenet groups is a smart thing to do. Do you actually talk to

people face to face as you do in these newsgroup exchanges? Just

because you are an anonymous figure hiding behind a keyboard don't

forget that these groups are made up of real human beings and they

deserve to be treated with respect as they would be treated in a face to

face conversation, or maybe you are also a jerk in your daily

interactions with others in your entourage. And as for top/bottom

posting if it bothers you then killfile me and be done with it, I'll

post wherever I want and I won't cry if you don't read my posts.

See? You're doing better all the time.

Posted up here on purpose. You forgot Rule 1 of netiquette... if you

ever even knew what it is, which I doubt.

As it is plainly obvious that you are nothing more than a troll wanting

to steer the conversation in a certain direction I will now follow rule

no. 7 of netiquette and stop contributing to the thread. Have fun and

good luck with your endeavours.
