Can you view full screen? I had found the fix that you have but when I go to full screen it locks up everytime.

I found the problem... or the solution anyway. Adobe has a flash
un-install program you can run. I un-installed and then re-installed
and it works now.
Thanks,

Yikes! How am I to stay informed and entertained?
Win2K, SP4, all security updates from windowsupdate as of last night.
This is a relatively new build which I just started using for work (no
idea if it ever worked with Youtube... never been tried before).
When I go to youtube, I get a message where the video should be that
says "Hello, you either have JavaScript turned off or an old version
of Macromedia's Flash Player. Get the latest flash player."
My Flash player is the latest and verifies that at Macromedia on the
install screen. I do allow JS. I even took security down to the lowest
levels in MSIE and it still didn't work.
Ideas ?
Thanks,

But, I've already enable JS (it works fine at other sites) and I am
already running at low security - see my previous post.

I don't think this is an "almost reinstall windows" sort of problem
as you've suggested as a solution. This is an almost new build, SP4
applied, all security patches at MS through yesterday applied. I have
a feeling it's a more contained problem... some sort of MSIE /
security patch mangle perhaps. I am hoping for a more contained
solution than the reinstall.

Somehow you must have some java issue only. Check the various Java security
