superscript spacing issue

When displaying a superscript or subscript on a basic html page, older

versions of IE (basically anything other than Windows 7's version) cause a

spacing issue that makes the lines of sentences conflict and overrun each

other.

This issue does not occur in windows 7, but just in Vista and XP's versions.
