Hi,

exists a way to prevent users from disabling the Firewall built in Vista? In
the group policies I found only the options to define rules for in and out
going traffic but no hint for aktivating the FW.

I´ll be happy for any help!
Thanks

Did you look at the explain text for the policy
Windows Firewall : protect all network connections
which begins
Turns on Windows Firewall,

The setting has been around since XP SP2 introduced the
upgraded firewall and is not Vista specific.

Only administrators can disable the firewall. If your users run as standard
user, not as administrator, then they can't disable it.
