Update KB939683 - why now

I just received this update through Auto Updates. Why isn't anything
written about it in microsoft.com? Also why did I get this update
just now (Aug. 3 2007)?

Dunno...unless you have the WMP option of automatically checking for updates
enabled, and even then I'd not expect any such updates to come in via AU.
939683 makes no mention of being available at Windows Update or Automatic
Updates.

Richard, you'd be much better off posting these Windows Update questions to
microsoft.public.windowsupdate newsgroup instead of here.
