Start menu Apps can't access to internet

Hello there,
When I open the Weather app from the start menu it opens and shows me a message saying "You are viewving sample weather data. Please connect to the internet to see weather for your city". The same happen with all apps in the Start menu.
Now if I open the IE from the taskbar in the desktop I have access to the internet however if I open the IE from the Start menu I can't access. Are them different Apps?
I'm behind a firewall. I've configured the connection to Internet in the IE from the Task bar in the Desktop. Does I've to configure something else?
What I'm missing?
