Hi all, I've problem with getting a program to start automatically with windows 8. I've added it a shortcut to it in "startup" buried deep in appdataroaming\MicrosoftWindowsStart MenuPrograms folder. But it refuses to start automatically. On my test
rig, it worked (works) fine but on my main box, installed and setup the same way it doesn't. The program is called 'strategic setup' it controls my ancient but wonderful strategic commander game controller. I am admin and the only user and at a bit of a loss
as to why it stubbornly won't play nice. I have removed the shortcut, rebooted, reapplied it and still it won't start, I also tried to get CPU-Z to start in the same way (just to see if it would work) and that also refuses to start automatically. Any ideas
