WINDOWS MEDIA CENTER - ACCESS TO RECORDED MOVIES

After I got my Windows 7 PC I used the Windows media Center to record 15 to 20 movies. I stored the movies on an external hard drive. A year later the hard drive on my PC crashed and I had to replace it. After
installing a new hard drive on my PC I was no longer able to access the movies on my external hard drive. can you help me get acc moviesess to those?
