I have a Windows 8 (x64) box that I get Access is Denied and error 0x80070005 when running the task. The task should run an EXE file.
1) This file runs fine on this computer if run directly from windows explorer instead of through scheduled tasks.
2) The same scheduled task runs fine from my Windows 7 (x64 and x86) and XP boxes.
I've tried all 3 settings under "Configure for:", including Windows 8, Windows 7 and Windows Vista. Run with highest privileges is checked as well. I've also tried exporting the task to change the priority from 7 to 4. Any suggestions?
Thanks!
