Hello all.
I am running Windows 8 on a new computer. For years I have maintained a simple text file where I store all of my user names and passwords. I use Notepad to open and make additions/changes. The first time I changed and tried to save the file under Win8, instead
of just saving it, it brought up the "Save As" dialog box and aked what name to save it as. I clicked "Save" to save it as the original name and it told me the file already existed did I want to replace it. I clicked yes. I then got a dialog
box saying "Access Denied", nothing else, no explaination. I checked the Secutity properties of the file and I have "Full Control" both as Administrator and User. Why is Windows not allowing me to make changes?
Thank - Jim T
