Is an online identity required to be able to add my corporate email account to the Windows Mail clie

Good Afternoon,
I'm trying to add my corporate email to the Windows Mail client on my Windows 8 device and it seems that I cannot by-pass the prompt that requires me to input an online identity. I suppose this would be fine for home users but my employer blocks
access to services such as login.live.com.
