Good day!
Have a problem with new installed Windows 8 x64 box. System periodically crashes with different codes:
BUGCHECK_STR: DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE, DPC_QUEUE_EXECUTION_TIMEOUT_EXCEEDED, etc.
I analyze minidump with WinDBG, faulting module is ntoskrnl.exe, DEFAULT_BUCKET_ID is WIN8_DRIVER_FAULT. So I think problem is probably with hardware drivers, but I have no ideas.
OS is fully patched from Windows Update. Motherboard is Asus P9X79 Deluxe, 2 hard drives are in RAID-1 based on on-board Intel RST, with addition of non-RAID 3-rd HDD attached to on-board Intel too. All latest hardware drivers from Asus site are installed.
Windows 7 x64 Ultimate and Windows 2008 R2 Enterprise on this box works well during 3 months. Problem appeared immediately when installing Windows 8.
I can upload kernel dumps if needed.
Thanks.
BR, Anton
