Windows 8 Patch Mgt / Service Pack

Understand from some forums that Windows 8 will not be having the convectional approach of coming out with SP1. How will the patches work for enterprise if there won't be a SP1 release for Windows 8? Can someone from Microsoft verify that this infomation
is correct?
Does it means, likewise for Windows 7, there will not be a SP2 for Windows 7. It will be taking the same approach as Windows 8?
