Your pc ran into a error

I have this message that my pc ran into a error and needs to be restart but that form like a restarting loop so i read here that you con fixed with the windows 8 CD so i do it trouble shooting advanced options automatic fix and that gave that message that
the operation needs a hour so i wait but then the screen goes black and i be waiting like a 4 hours ago my question is This is this normal i should wait or not?
