I have following strange problem with keyboard and czech national characters:
On czech keyboard some characters are writen as "combined" - one "modification" character followed by letter.
Example: ˇ + T = Ť
Now my problem is- on keyboard which is set as system default (czech QWERTY) it does not work, it produces:
Example: ˇ + T = ˇˇT
Well and the confusing part: The problem appears to be only when the keyboard is set as system default. If i select another keyboard as system default, and switch to "my" keyboard after start, the "my" keyboard works correctly. (But if
the keyboard is set as default, switching to another keyboard and back doesnt help). Done all sorts of switching - default keyboard always wrong, secondary always ok.
Am using windows 8, english language pack (system language), czech language pack installed. Its tablet PC - but the problem is on touchkeyb as well as on BT keyboard and USB keyboard. Have another machine with precisely the same language and input settings
- without this problem (non-touch laptop). Maybe touch keyboard introduces this problem?
Any advice appreciated.
