get error code 0x8004FF81 stops installation

In the Machine
Using a TOSHIBA (NB255) notebook, windows 7. Whenever I try to load a security software such as McAfee or Microsoft Security Essentials, the following error code appears "0x8004FF81". No guidance is provided for correcting this. HELP!
