Error code 0x80070645 when attempting to reinstall MSE

Used MSE sucessfully for about 6 months, then it would stop working and had to reinstall a couple of times. Then it would not uninstall and had to use Fix It to uninstall.Since then. it starts to install and stops after several seconds, giving the above
error code. Running XP Home.
