why WS essential scan gives error 0x8050800d before completing scan

I am using windows 7 Home Premium service pack 1. I been recently experiencing this scan issue with my new laptop. during full scan or quick scan this error 0x8050800d appears with the message below.

Why WS essential scan gives error 0x8050800d before completing scan.
Message appears, SE couldn't scan your PC some history items couldn't be displayed. Clear the history and try again.
But there is nothing in the history. it does not show anything in the history. History is empty. why is that?
