removing VIPRE from the laptop

I had my laptop flushed out in order to remove soooo many viruses, that had accrued. the company installed 'Vipre' and am finding it difficult to go on certain sights i.e. bing, google, kids games etc therefore wish to remove this and then have a virus protection
installed.
