Is there a problem saving Outlook Normal.dot with Word 2010 Normal.dot?

We have been experiencing major issues with the Normal.dot corruptions and it is severely affecting Out-of-the-Box Styles and Customized Styles. Are there any issues with saving the Outlook Normal.dot with the Word Normal.dot?
