Removing Quarantined files

I have 2 incidents of Exploit:Java/CVE-2013-0422 and 2 incidents of Exploit:Java/CVE-2013-1493 showing in my history as &quotQuarantined&quot. They do not show up when I click Quarantined Items Only. Therefore against ALL advice to the contrary, I can not remove
them. I have two questions 1) any tips on how to remove these files? 2) Is it ok to use a backup that has a quarantined file?
