I inherited a dell laptop Latitude Xpi. I have no additional information or
instructions and have no idea as to its operating system. When I turn it on
I get a message "enter password" or use control-enter to bypass password.
However, I can not get pass this point. It is not the operating system
password and I've tried various F-keys without success so never having
experienced this I'm guessing that it is a BIOS password? Is there a way
around this, or is it too old to bother with and should I just toss it, any
suggestions or recommendations? My apologies if this is the wrong group for
this question.
