Outlook 2013 People Pane Does Not Display Corporate Data

I am finding that the Outlook 2013 People Pane does not work as expected.
The people pane does not display any emails, meetings, attachments from the corporate users accounts. If an external sender has history and attachments etc. , the pane works correctly. After spending some time on it, I discovered that only conversations
history from lync were being indexed and displayed from corporate users.
I created a custom search folder, explicitly looking for attachments and emails from one user. browsed to an email from that user and only returned conversations related.
although Rakeshs-MSFT had this problem identified Monday, October 01, 2012 6:41 PM no follow-up resolutions were posted.
What gives?
Has anyone found a resolution?
